Aleksandr Knyazyuk – a player of Russia’s junior collected team

The team went to the competition in the following composition: Aleksandr Knyazyuk, Nikita Balashov, Pavel Shavkunov, Gleb Plotnikov, Benjamin-Pavel Dudu, Mikhail Nabotov, Pavel Antipov, Aleksandr Burtsev, Ivan Shamov, Dmitry Kulagin, Ivan Lazarev, Nikita Barinov. The main coach is Mikhail Solovyev, coach is Sergey Khrebtov.
In the first group stage of the championship Russia will play with Israel (July 23), Italy (July 24), and Lithuania (July 25). Three best teams from each of the four groups enter the second round, which form two sixes and play, with taking account of the previous personal encounters, July 27-29. Four strongest teams from each of these tow groups will continue to strive for the medals in the playoffs. 1/4 finals will be held July 31, 1/2 finals August 1, the game for the 3rd place and the final game will be August 2.
