In European cups “Spartak” is much more confident than in the Russian Superleague. In Belgium  the red-and-whites scored the second convincing victory over “Charleroi”, and it is the first time in European cups that our team can win in its group.

An Israeli specialist arrived to Saint Petersburg from Tel-Aviv yesterday evening. Having checked in the hotel in 10 (!) minutes, new head coach of the red& whites in good mood hurried up to get acquainted with the team on the first training session. Nonetheless, Tsvi made an exception and answered the questions of “Sports”  reporter.

The Spartacus Basketball Team from Saint Petersburg, which is the fourth Major League Club according to the results in the last season, has gone to its first periodical foreign training to Paulahti (Finland). The delegation will stay at a hotel of a modern Sports Center until September 2, although two sportsmen will be absent. They are Egor Mescheryakov, who is now in the National Team of Byelorussia, and a member of the Russian National Team Aleksey Zozulin on account of his injury.
